Furnace Fun

So our furnace finally was declared dead. If you recall, our furnace broke last year and our horrible warranty company wouldn't replace it. This year, we didn't renew that bad warranty and we renewed another company's (gas-line warranty). This better company did declare our furnace dead. Wooo!! So, we got a 90% efficient furnace for free. For a bit more money we upgraded to a high-efficiency furnace - which will earn us a tax credit. Double Wooo!!

So the downfall of the new furnace is the installers messed up and caused a gas leak in our basement. We woke up Sunday to gas smells and had 3 companies come throughout the day to get it fixed (Furnace co. , Gas line repair co, Gas company). But we are all good now, didn't blow up, didn't get sick off gas, have a working furnace.
